Peixinhos da Horta is a traditional Portuguese dish that gave rise to Japanese tempura dish, when was brought to Japan in mid-sixteenth century by Portuguese missionaries.
For me, this is the most tasty way(though less healthy) to eat green beans.
Ingredients:
-Green Beans;
-1 Egg;
-Wheat flour;
-Sal;
-Sunflower oil.
Method of preparation:
Prepare the green beans by cuting the ends and thicker sides. Cook the beans for 2 minutos. Let it cool.
Purée (polme): In a dish, beat the egg and gradually add spoonfuls of flour until the dough is not too thick.
Wrap the beans in the purée and fry in sunflower oil, with low heat in a frying pan until they get "blond".
You can follow them by tomato rice, for example. Bon apetit!
